Studio time, working next to a professional, is a tradition and invaluable learning experience for designers and artisans. The sharing of knowledge by professionals in the industry provides insight and guidance to all “students” of design.
Maria Morga spent 12 years teaching as adjunct faculty for the Corcoran College of Art & Design. She has also taught at George Washington University and Marymount University at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
My focus as an instructor is teaching of design fundamentals. These classes honor the classical approach to teaching of the basics with individual set goals and achievements! I offer private and semi private instruction on a monthly schedule for the following courses:
- Drawing/Sketching of perspective and illustration
- Color Theory in Design
- Watercolor/Mixed Media painting
- Guidance developing your creative design skill set
